August 11th went to St. Louis to do a 'Rave'. Got scooped up, went to the hotel, and then went to a BBQ in the hood. It was 'real'. Check out that grill....q-u-a-l-i-t-y. Really strange mix of folk. Locals, hippies, rave casualties, etc. I drank shitty beer and scotch to deal with the situation. Not the best idea.
Went to the rave after a nice dinner at a brew pub. More beer. Yep. The rave was at a warehouse. Very dark, underground feeling. Only thing missing was a proper soundsystem. I am always amazed when someone will pay for flights, fees, hotels, meals and all that and then drop 500 watts of sound into a place that needs at least 10,000. The show must go on. Ran everything into the red, freaked out x 10, drank too much beer, etc. Back to the hotel, airport, home.
